International Fund for Animal Welfare Direct Marketing Coordinator in Yarmouth Port, Massachusetts
The Direct Marketing Coordinator will work as an integral part of IFAW\'s Global Direct Marketing team by providing essential operational support & assistance to the direct marketing team. The Direct Marketing Coordinator, with guidance from the DVP of Direct Marketing, will be responsible for supporting effective direct marketing campaigns which will drive revenue & create a world where animals & people thrive together. The Coordinator\'s work will include project management, marketing campaign support, operational support, & some data analysis. This person must love a fast-paced & complex environment & must be motivated by working as part of a high-achieving team & independently as required. Role & Responsibilities Develop & maintain an understanding of IFAW?s programmatic campaigns & priorities to effectively promote IFAW?s work to prospects & partners. Provide daily support & management of Direct Marketing\'s global donation processing partners; lead weekly meetings, communicate critical mail dates & quantities, oversee information flows, manage & assess vendor performance against goal. Assist in the management of Direct Marketing?s payment processing requirements & assist in partner management. Coordinate IFAW?s multi-channel acknowledgement program, for all donor levels, to ensure a thoughtful, integrated process. Including but not limited to documenting current strategy, coordinating data file transfers, enhancing letters to include timely information, & monitoring. Coordinate IFAW?s cross-marketing inserts & create schedules for when & where they can be used to educate IFAW donors most effectively on giving opportunities & programmatic information. Assist Direct Marketing managers with contract negotiation, editing & final approvals. Shepherd all contracts through IFAW?s signature process. Create & keep current Direct Marketing procedure manuals for IFAW\'s Global marketing. Identify areas of improvement within processes & recommend changes. Create & keep current all required Data Privacy procedures for all markets. Update annually as required. Liase with IFAW\'s Head of Data Protection & Fundraising compliance to ensure best practices are followed. Communicate to the team all necessary changes. Coordinate IFAW?s annual global data hygiene process & manage data destruction requirements with third party partners. Assist & support in Direct Marketing?s procurement process. Assist in vendor research & evaluation. Assist in bidding process management. Independently manage invoice approval & processing for the team, validating costs against quotes & providing cost projections. Support the Direct Marketing team\'s budgeting process & reporting thereof; create annual donor journey maps. Assist the creative & production team with final editing & filing of artwork. Manage ad-hoc projects as assigned Remain current on: IFAW campaigns, programs, & emergency relief efforts. IFAW direct mail new donor engagement trends & practices. Financial policies, data protection & privacy requirements, & charity watchdog ratings. Qualifications & Education Requirements Ability to balance many tasks & thrive with time constraint pressure. High attention to detail & the ability to produce high quality work. Intellectual curiosity & a growth mindset. A very sharp, highly organized, & self-motivated individual. High proficiency in Excel & Microsoft Word. Ability to work effectively as part of an integrated, diverse, team. Excellent communication skills, both verbal & written.
