CVS Health VP, Corporate Development in WORK FROM HOME, Massachusetts

Job Description

The VP of Corporate Development will report directly to the SVP, Strategy Implementation, this Vice President will lead the CVS Health Corporate Development and Mergers & Acquisitions Integration teams in analyzing, recommending, negotiating and executing strategies to (i) acquire or divest all or parts of publicly or privately held Companies in advance of CVS Health’ corporate strategy and to maximize shareholder value, enhance long-term capital resources and financial flexibility, and (ii) develop and execute plans to operationally integrate acquisitions into CVS or separate divested business units from CVS.The Corporate Development team is responsible for identifying and analyzing corporate opportunities and recommending actions to be taken including mergers, acquisitions, divestiture, partnerships and joint ventures. This individual will guide the team to actively research the target market segment and assess new opportunities for commercial and organizational growth, investigate and evaluate potential acquisitions/divestures, licensing opportunities, geographic expansions, and joint ventures in line with the organization's overall strategy and vision. (S)He will be responsible for the outcome of acquisition or divestiture processes domestically or internally and work closely with CVS’ senior leadership to identify and execute on potential Mergeres & Acquisition opportunities. The Mergers & Acquisitions Integration team is responsible for developing an integration plan for businesses to be acquired in areas such as Finance, Real Estate, IT, or HR and is responsible for its execution within set budgetary limits. Similarly, this team develops and executes operational plans to divest businesses as appropriate.

Required Qualifications

• 15+ years of Corporate Development; Investment Management and/or Investment Banking experience at large, top tier companies.• Deep experience in leading the execution of an extensive variety of client transactions covering the full advisory and capital raising spectrum.• Advanced knowledge of healthcare industry, market, and products. Health services (e.g., telehealth, subscription services, value-based care) industry experience preferred.• Experiencing leading private equity M&A.• Advanced analytical, problem solving and technical skills.• Excellent interpersonal style, good listening skills and the ability to communicate highly complex ideas clearly and concisely.• Strong partnering and leadership skills in a matrixed environment.• Self-starter, who is comfortable working with ambiguity.• Proven ability to manage complex projects spanning a variety of business, finance, operations, legal, tax and capital markets issues.Travel: Up to 30%Work Remotely
