State of Massachusetts Worcester County Recovery Outreach Project Coordinator in Worcester, Massachusetts

Worcester County Overdose Outreach Coordinator Overall Responsibilities:Work with programmatic staff and implement Worcester County Outreach Project Supervised by:First Assistant District Attorney/Supervisor of District Court/Supervisor of School & Community Outreach Duties and responsibilities include the following: * Identify the recovery/overdose response needs of the community, including working with police departments, service providers, and CIMS (Kelly Research Associates) to collect and analyze administrative and overdose data. * Identify project service providers and assist with contract development and implementation. * Convene regular meetings to discuss project implementation, disseminate data findings and project outcomes, and ensure that all partners involved in the project have up-to-date information on grant activities. * Respond to requests from stakeholders for data, reports, and information about the COSSAP project. * Develop and implement strategic and annual work plans to support county overdose outreach initiative. * Work with project partners to develop an information sharing and communications plan. * Establish and maintain productive and effective relationships across diverse sectors of the community, including law enforcement, partner organizations, municipal leaders, etc. * Stay informed of all current evidence-based practices related to recovery, ensure overdose outreach is conducted in a consistent manner, and provide all parties with necessary and updated information. * Enhance community engagement, educate local and state level decision makers about overdose initiatives, and conduct education events, including those which fall outside of standard working hours. * Participate in local, regional and statewide community education and awareness events, including events that may fall outside standard working hours. * Provide and develop effective community based outreach plans. * Participate in local, regional and statewide planning and coordination meetings. * Coordinate or oversee workshops, trainings, conferences, and other activities. * Promote culturally competent, state-of-the-art research-based, prevention practices. * Additional duties as assigned.
