Eaton Corporation Marketing Specialist in Worcester, Massachusetts

Eaton’s B-Line Division is currently seeking a Marketing Specialist for our furniture products and Data Center Racks to join our team. This position is based at our Worcester, MA location.

Position Overview:

This position has responsibility for Product Marketing along with technical support of Eaton B-Line’s furniture products and Data Center Racks which include Eaton's Technical Office Furniture, General Office Furniture, and Data Center products and reports to the WL Product Manager for Technical Furniture and Data Centers. The Marketing specialists is responsible for supporting the delivery of profitable growth by supporting new product development, price, promotion, channel, and product life cycle initiatives. Success of the incumbent will be dependent on their ability to understand technical details from engineering and design packages and translate that information into customer facing value added information to be used for quotations, order entry, and promotional materials. The products for this position are manufactured in Worcester, MA.

In this function you will:

  • Have responsibility for all furniture and data center specification checks

  • Assist in technical support for installation questions and NCR research

  • Interpret and resolve complex product questions

  • Assist customers using basic knowledge of the product line

  • Maintain Lotus Notes and help organize data

  • Maintain ownership of all Furniture & Data Center Specials Opportunities. Includes setting up meetings with Sales/Eng/App Eng/Product Manager to determine our best solution to the customer, create proposed special pricing, and the set-up of new part numbers

  • Assist potential customers, existing customers, and the North American Mid-Market sales force with product selection and configurations

  • Have responsibility for product announcements to the Sales field

  • Create training documents and be the lead presenter to filed and internal team members – Technical support and Field Training

Qualifications

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in marketing or engineering

  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Worcester, MA will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

  • Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future

Preferred qualifications:

  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills; ability to establish and maintain relationships

  • Superior organizational agility skills

  • Ability to operate as an effective tactical as well as strategic thinker

Eaton provides a competitive total rewards package commensurate with applicable skills, knowledge, and experience and consistent with internal and external market practices. The annual salary range for this role is $51,360-70,620 a year.
