American Tower Manager, Account Marketing in Woburn, Massachusetts

The Team

We are seeking an Account Marketing (Account Based Marketing) Manager to join American Tower’s Marketing organization. This position is responsible to develop and execute on marketing strategies that position the Company within the specified market segment and enable sales pipeline growth. Day to day you will focus ondeveloping highly differentiated value propositions and customer-content targeted to your assigned market segment, which may include Mobile Network Operators (MNOs), Mobile Virtual Network Operators (MVNOs), Wireless Internet Service Providers (WISPs), Government, etc.

What You Can Offer Us

  • Act as the subject matter expert within the Marketing organization for assigned industry and customer segment.

  • Collaborate closely with sales to develop and execute best-in-class ABM programs for named accounts to increase awareness and drive pipeline growth.

  • Create marketing strategy based on buyer personas, competitive positioning, commercial insight, and Company goals.

  • Author thought leadership content, including feature stories, blog content, presentations, infographic, case studies, sales enablement, and webpage content.

  • Partner with Senior Manager and Digital Marketing team on use of effective channel tactics, including industry events, seminars and webinars, digital marketing activities, and web and print advertising programs.

  • Gather market intelligence and ongoing customer feedback to ensure materials are compelling and differentiated in the market.

  • Conduct quarterly customer interviews to gain a strong understanding of the customer journey and uncover segment pain points and opportunities.

  • Collaborate with Sales Operations to measure and report on the success of campaigns and optimize approach based on analytics and data.

  • Other duties as assigned.

What You Need to Succeed

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree within Marketing or related field preferred

  • 6 years B2B marketing experience, with a focus on ABM, field marketing, or demand generation required

  • Aptitude for leveraging digital marketing, digital advertising, and sales acceleration tools and technologies

  • Experience with CRM tools

  • Wireless or Telecom industry and business-to-business experience strongly preferred

  • Approximately 15% travel may be required to support the position’s responsibilities .

  • Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively.

  • Ability to work with different functional groups and levels of employees to effectively and professionally achieve results.

  • Strong ability to take technical and solutions information and transform into compelling value propositions to address customer needs.
