Department Marketing Statement
Through our network of almost 15 locations around the world, the Chomerics Division is a global leader in the development and application of electrically and thermally conductive materials and our products can be found in different industries including aviation, telecommunications, medical devices, defense, commercial and consumer electronics. Our strong product portfolio, which utilizes technology built on core competencies in material science and process technology is recognized globally.
Whilst reporting to the President Operations of the Engineered Materials Group, you will be accountable for directing domestic and coordinating global operations to achieve results identified by the corporation’s Win Strategy focusing on: Engaged People, Premier Customer Experience, Profitable Growth and Financial Performance.
You will provide leadership to more than 800 team members globally organized in multiple divisions/business units and ensure that a strategic alignment is kept on key breakthrough initiatives. Your key responsibilities will include but will not be limited to the following:
Ensure a ‘Safety First’ culture is in place across all areas of the business
Profitably grow the business and achieve Corporate goals by pursuing new business and partnering alliances; works with current and potential global customers to promote and leverage company technologies, systems, products and services.
Ensure that the organisation structure maximizes cost efficiencies, economies of scale, improves flexibility, optimizes manufacturing capacity and provides a clear interface for Parker Sales Companies and Customers.
Establishes and maintains premier customer service. Implements or supports e- business customer access to product and order information.
Responsible for the global investment in and development of new products and systems to provide innovation, establish competitive product market positions and increase market share.
Lead the strategy deployment for multiple divisions, both domestically and globally, concentrating on Lean Initiatives, Strategic Pricing and Strategic Procurement.
Ensure that all organisation processes comply with all respects of local legal requirements and all Corporation’s policies, including Sarbox and the Parker “Code of Conduct”
Optimize talent management and development processes: engage, empower and develop individuals and natural work teams to achieve optimum and sustainable level of performance and contribution.We would like to hear from you if you have:
Degree is required, holding or working towards a MBA or an equivalent masters level management degree is preferred.
A combined strong commercial background with an extensive international operations management experience demonstrating successful track record in leading large, complex industrial manufacturing organisation.
Experience in business transformation and operational excellence.
Successfully managed the development of new products that led to improved margins & increased market shares.
Track record of improving leadership performance and developing a credible talent succession pipeline.
