Achieve individual sales goal for ($750k) Adaptive Insights Software Sales and enable additional Services sales and related products
Set and execute the sales strategy for assigned territory and lead the development of a sales plan targeting organizations where a Service Delivery opportunity is likely to exist.
Work with Adaptive Insights to pursue leads and cultivate your own channel leads for Adaptive Insights.
Regarded as a thought leader, staying current with new trends and developments within area of expertise.
Recommends changes and improvements to organizational processes and procedures.
Effectively utilize lead generation team and other sales support resources at the appropriate time in the selling process
Demonstrate strong sales strategy ability by crafting and presenting client offers and helping the team identify and navigate alternative paths to making the sale.
Provide input on pricing decisions striving to sell at the highest possible profit margin
Promote Adaptive Insights Solutions within Alight and mines existing client relationships across practice areas for opportunities
Maximize the use (both individually and with the team) of sanctioned tools including but not limited to Salesforce.com.
Provide introductory demos of Adaptive Insights and run full end-to-end sales Cycles of Adaptive Insights products.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Experience, Knowledge, Education, Certification, Skills & Technical Proficiencies
Sales Skills – The Sales Colleague should exhibit excellent skills throughout all stages of a consultative selling process, including pipeline management, strong negotiation skills and the ability to close opportunities. They should be able to sell value over price by providing deep insight about how the service will impact the client’s business.
Subject Matter Expertise – The Sales Colleague should have content knowledge of Adaptive Insights and the CPM (corporate performance management market. They will need to work collaboratively with Alight colleagues to demo and scope and deliver full solutions to customers.
Relationship Management – The Sales Colleague will need to build strong relationships at multiple levels in a potential client company, including the C-suite, with the goal of becoming a trusted advisor to that organization. They will also need to maintain productive, internal relationships in order to leverage those resources when necessary.
Communication/Project Management – The Sales Colleague should have the ability to manage multiple, complex sales processes at the same time. They need very strong internal and external communication skills, with the ability to listen comprehensively and deliver clear instructions and/or recommendations.
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
Lead generation and cultivation skills to find additional channel business is a bonus.
5+ years direct selling or lead generation experience with demonstrated sales success with CPM and specifically Adaptive Insights
Excellent selling and sales strategy skills, including the ability to close opportunities
Content knowledge of CPM market, requirements and Adaptive Insights platform.
Proven track record of selling and leveraging partners and working in a channel environment.
