Job Description

About the Role: Our semiconductor client in Wilmington, MA is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Strategist to define and develop a new business concept within the rapidly evolving data center space. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping strategy, conducting intensive customer discovery, and driving the identification of key market opportunities. Pay for this role ranges from 100 - 150/hr.

Key Responsibilities:

  Develop a comprehensive business strategy for the companies data center initiatives.

  Lead and execute customer discovery campaigns to gather insights and validate market needs.

  Build strong relationships with data center stakeholders, including enterprise customers and industry partners.

  Analyze market trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging technologies to identify strategic opportunities.

  Collaborate cross-functionally with technical teams to align product development with customer requirements.

  Develop and present business cases, market assessments, and strategic recommendations to executive leadership.

  Synthesize various aspects of business strategy, including customer insights, product development, business models, go-to-market strategies, and forecasting.

  Explore new and novel business ideas, leveraging creativity and strategic thinking

Skills and Requirements

Qualifications:

  Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).

  10+ years of experience in startups, business strategy, product development, or market analysis, ideally within the data center or IT infrastructure industry.

  Strong understanding of data center technologies, trends, and customer requirements.

  Proven experience in customer discovery and market validation techniques.

  Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

  Ability to conduct industry research and synthesize key insights.

  Experience developing and pitching new business concepts.

  Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
