We are looking for intelligent and highly motivated individuals to join our expanding Citizens Pay pricing and analytics team. Pricing and Profitability Manager, Consumer Finance manages the overall pricing and profitability process for the entire suite of consumer lending and deposit products. Will be a critical partner to the Citizens Pay business, whose work will have a direct and measurable impact to the growth and bottom line of the business. This role will have a high level of exposure to senior management, delivering deep insights to drive business decisions on a daily basis.
50% - Pipeline Pricing Analytics
Partner directly with the Citizens Pay business development team, helping to expand our launch pipeline of merchant partners.
Deliver pricing output across a range of complex structures for merchant prospects.
Articulate pricing output to internal stakeholders, along with external clients.
Manage numerous pricing projects and sales relationships simultaneously.
25% - Portfolio Analytics and Partnership Pricing
Partner directly with relationship management teams of current portfolio relationships.
Draw insights from data and design and test new pricing strategies across our portfolio of merchants, helping to increase basket size and AOV for our clients.
Understand the customer price elasticity of our current programs, and work to build out advanced price optimization capabilities.
Provide analytics and reporting on overall customer application funnel, delivering actionable insights on customer take rates and pull-through.
Perform ad-hoc portfolio and customer analytics for our merchant partners; continuously delivering exceptional customer experience for our partners.
Continuously looking to enhance overall customer lifetime value.
15% - Reporting and Profitability
Manage profitability reporting on our monthly cohort/vintage originations across our current portfolio of merchants.
10% - Governance
Manage pricing governance and documents, including the monitoring of established thresholds and guidelines, and the adequate review of deals by formal governance committees.
7+ years of experience in an analytically driven role (pricing, credit, risk, consulting, analytics), (buy now pay later experience is a plus).
Experience with SQL, SAS, or other programming/scripting languages.
Experience leading and/or managing projects or initiatives
Strong understanding of loan level financials and drivers, with the ability to articulate how small changes to inputs/assumptions may affect overall customer lifetime profitability and pricing strategies.
Strong ability to understand and protect against all scenarios of downside risk across deals.
Strong understanding of Consumer Lending products.
Strong executive presence, with ability to communicate clearly and efficiently with senior leaders.
Data-driven decision making.
Ability to lead new business development implementation through strong analytics
Ability to collaborate with and influence different teams across the organization.
Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Access and Power Point)
This role requires an individual that is highly skilled in financial modeling, experienced with highly complex and sometimes counterintuitive pricing structures.
Bachelor’s degree in finance accounting, or related discipline is required.
MBA is a plus
