Basic Functions:

Manages all aspects of tradeshow and event planning for the organization. Coordinates and executes various downstream marketing projects. Continuously seeks opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs and increase satisfaction of internal and external customers. This customer centric marketing role provides quick and professional support to multiple levels and functions in the organization.

Overall Responsibilities:

+ + Provides daily support to the Marketing and Sales Teams

  • Seeks opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and to improve efficiency, overall quality and/or reduce cost for marketing programs, processes and tools.

  • Responsible for overseeing the planning and coordination of all tradeshow and meeting event activities to include all show services, registration, lead generation and follow-up.

  • Responsible for planning all internal commercial meetings including sales and training meetings(hotel, rooming, catering, etc) as directed by the sales and marketing leaders

  • Responsible for planning and coordinating dinner events as part of SSC’s speaker program

  • Manages relationship with outside suppliers

  • Assist product managers in coordinating marketing projects such as development and production of collateral, sales aids, training materials, print, advertising, promotions, meetings and events.

  • Maintains and distributes sales tools and promotional materials including:

  • SSC’s content management system and company website

  • Inventory of printed material, promotional items and miscellaneous supplies.

  • Manages and communicates monthly tracking of the global marketing and tradeshow/event budgets versus the annual plan.

  • Supports global marketing team with PO generation, invoice processing and budget tracking

  • Oversees and tracks the cross-functional review and approval process (including documentation) for marketing collateral.

  • Acts as a point person for support requests from the sales organization; including sales representatives

  • Domestic and international travel required including some weekends

Qualifications:

  • Associates or Bachelor’s Degree required

  • Minimum of 2 years related experience in sales and marketing support

  • Proven ability to problem solve and improve internal processes

  • Must possess strong organizational and project management skills

  • Proficiency in Excel for management of departmental budget

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work with key stakeholders across all of the company’s functional areas

  • Motivated to proactively assist team members in a support role
