We are seeking a Director, Commercial Technology Strategy with an entrepreneurial spirit who excels in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment to join our team.
The Director, Commercial Technology Strategy serves as the technological thought leader for advancing the objectives of the Commercial teams through the use of innovative technology solutions. This role is responsible for partnering with sales and marketing in the delivery of applications aligned to the business and IT strategy, as well as support of the those applications.
Specifically, this role will serve as the technology business partner to implement complex and innovative process improvements and technologies which promote overall organizational efficiency, effectiveness, and cost optimization. This position will work with commercial business partners in Europe and North America to drive innovation and consistency. The director will need to understand key business process, lead the commercial technology roadmap, design solutions, and coordinate IT support for commercial operations. You will be part of the technology leadership team and be involved in setting the strategic direction for the applications at Corza. You will report to the Vice President of Information Technology.

What you will do
Lead the analysis of current processes, recommend solutions and improved processes, consult as subject matter expert on the impact of systems changes to business processes and how to maximize operational efficiencies, quality, and compliance.
In partnership with business leadership, create and actively manage an integrated business and technology strategy and roadmap to enable the Commercial functional lines to achieve their strategic objectives.
Provide leadership and subject matter expertise regarding data governance, architecture, and warehousing for commercial data analytics and integrations.
Employ a broad array of communication tools to inform, direct, and facilitate requirements analysis and communication within project teams and between business and technical teams.
Work to understand the sales and marketing business, the software they use to run the business, and how data flows between systems in order to support them effectively. Identify and troubleshoot operational issues and system gaps for sales and marketing systems and process.
Manage changes to our global CRM platforms, making sure business and regulatory needs are met.
Review specifications with stakeholders to assure clarity and consensus on features.
Manage projects for implementation of new applications and updates to existing applications, including software selections, budgets, and timelines. Ensure successful change management and adoption for each implementation effort.
Anticipate client needs, investigate the underlying causes of system problems, and identify short- and long-term solutions.
Identify and troubleshoot operational issues and system gaps for sales and marketing systems and process.
Collaborate with technology team and external vendors to maintain system performance, system security, and compliance requirements.
What you will need
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in computer science, technology, engineering or related disciplines
Medical device or pharmaceutical industry experience preferred .
Minimum 5 years of experience in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment
Experience with Salesforce CRM required
Experience in gathering business requirements and documentation
