The [Manager/Senior Manager], BBU Payer Insights is responsible for the successful scope, execution and delivery of all payer- and reimbursement-related research, analytics, insights, and reporting to support BBU by working with internal colleagues within Market Access & Reimbursement and cross collaboratively with field teams, Brand, Patient Services, Finance, and Commercial Operations teams. This role will play a pivotal part in the launch of SB11, a ranibizumab biosimilar being developed by Biogen in collaboration with Samsung Bioepis. This role and the insights generated in it will meaningfully impact workstreams such as customer targeting, pricing and contracting strategy, and launch performance tracking. The individual will plan and execute market research to drive to insights to provide decision support for the organization. The individual will develop analytics and reporting that will provide insights into payer performance for BBU markets and provide recommendations supporting short-term tactical decisions and long-term strategic planning. The individual will own and maintain suite of standard reporting within MA&R at the national and local level, including but not limited to formulary access by channel, payer and channel segmentation mix, projected plan performance, and will lead insights activities in support of major strategic initiatives (e.g., pull through, ad boards, impact of public policy changes). * * Key responsibilities will include: · Conduct payer- and reimbursement-related reporting, analytics, research, and insights work to support the BBU business · Partner cross-functionally and participate in analysis and preparation of performance and opportunity assessments · Plan and execute market research · Build and execute payer-related reporting and insight generation for account management and field reimbursement teams · Work with key stakeholders within MA&R and across functions to understand their business and triage and deliver effective solutions using various data sources LI-SR6 The ideal candidate will possess the following key skills and competencies: · Experience in the US market access / payer areas. US biosimilar experience a plus · Strong analytical skills · Experience executing market research · Familiarity with incorporating qualitative and quantitative inputs into projects · Ability to proactively deliver moderately complex analytical investigations and cross-functional projects with limited guidance · Comfort with ambiguity and ability to absorb and logically structure information into analytical deliverable outputs · High sense of urgency with the ability to work under tight timelines · Demonstrated Strong Communication Skills – both efficient and succinct in verbal and written communications/deliverables · Attention to detail, yet proven ability to maintain an “80/20” mindset · Independent, out-of-the-box thinker with conviction of thought · Personal drive and passion to know/understand the business * * *Education and experience: · BA/BS required · MBA or relevant work experience preferred · 5+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry and/or strategic consulting discipline · 3-5 years of experience in US market access or biosimilars preferred All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
