Raytheon Technologies Director, Value Stream Manager - Airborne ISR in Westford, Massachusetts

We are currently seeking a highly motivated experienced Value Stream Leader to lead our Airborne ISR portfolio. The leader will oversee Value Stream Managers collaborating with Integrated Product Teams to deliver on customer commitments, drive profitable growth, and lead an engaged and talented team.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for the creation and execution of the Strategic & Financial, Pursuit to Order Capture, Design and Development, Production, and Service & Support plans for the portfolio

  • Responsible for the creation and execution of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) to include the P&L financial execution of the portfolio including but not limited to sales, EBIT, cashflow, inventory, On Time Delivery, Customer Satisfaction, New Business Capture rate

  • Responsible for establishing and achieving annual goals of the portfolio to include the flow of goals to the functions within the IPT

  • Accountable for conducting Pursuit, Program, Development, Sales, Inventory & Operations Plan (SIOP), and Customer Sat Review for the portfolio

  • Accountable for the successful execution of customer contractual commitments within the portfolio

  • Monitors value-stream strategy, progress and results to ensure that goals are achieved.

  • Guides continuous improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency and quality.

  • Identifies and responds to portfolio problems and lead the plan to provide solutions, such as allocation of resources, portfolio priority alignment, organizational or process adjustments etc

  • Develops new business growth strategies to increase profitability and/or market share of the organization.

  • Assists in the creation and execution of customer engagement plans

  • Accountable for portfolio employee engagement and talent development

  • Accountable for creation and execution of the portfolio communication plan to provide all portfolio employees feedback on the progress of the business

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 14 years prior relevant experience OR

  • Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 12 years experience OR

  • In absence of a degree, 18 years of relevant experience is required

  • Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident “Green Card” holder

  • Must have or be capable of obtaining a US Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance. Candidate selected will be subject to a government security investigation/reinstatement and must meet eligibility requirements

  • Minimum of 12 years of experience leading program management or manufacturing teams or as a business unit manager

  • Minimum seven years of experience as an Aerospace and Defense Program Manager skilled at conflict resolution and technical program resolution.

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • Successful track record driving and executing operational growth and improvements in complex business models

  • Experience with developing and fostering key customer relationships primarily in the military community

  • Excellent communication skills with proven ability to facilitate teamwork across functions. Ability to influence and motivate in a matrix organization.

  • Capable of leading diverse teams

  • Bias for action and sense of urgency to obtain results.

  • Business development knowledge, a strong business sense, technical background and familiarity with technical product development.
