RedHat Director, Product Management - Cloud Partner Portfolio in Westford, Massachusetts

Job summary

The Red Hat Business Unit (BU) is looking for a Director of Product Management for our Cloud Partner Portfolio to join us in Westford, MA. In this role, you will lead a global partner product management team focused on helping build a robust and self-sufficient cloud partner ecosystem capable of increasing a significant portion of our business with and through cloud partners, including hyperscalers, service providers, and managed service providers. You will lead a team of partner product managers that work closely with our BU product management teams, ecosystem engineering team, and cloud partner product teams to develop and grow the joint solutions, technical capacity, relationships, and revenue of our cloud partner ecosystem. You and your team will be a trusted advisor to our partners who are supported every step of the way in growing their businesses with Red Hat. You will help define joint solutions, enable their technical teams, and assist partners in their Red Hat Open Hybrid Cloud journey. We are looking for a motivated expert to help build and scale our global cloud partner product management team. You should love building teams and businesses and guiding them. As a Director, you’ll need great interpersonal skills to work cross functionally and as a trusted advisor to our product management and cloud partner technical teams, as well as our ecosystem engineering team. Your influence can have a far ranging impact. You should be entrepreneurial and self-motivated with a passion for breaking into marketing and creating something new you’re proud of.

Primary job responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Red Hat product management team to define cloud ready products that result in best customer experiences in their cloud deployments

  • Work with key partners to build Red Hat cloud capabilities and solutions to jointly deliver seamless customer experience in the hybrid cloud environment

  • Engage with technical leads at key cloud partners to share technology roadmap and plans as well as the latest innovations, showing the path toward expanding the partnership further

  • Serve as a technical advocate for key partners and identify areas of growth via partnerships

  • Influence product direction and priorities

  • Build repeatable playbooks and defining delivery best practices

  • Share expertise and vision through presenting at industry events, developing whitepapers, and reference architectures

  • Help develop and contribute to solution development, sales enablement, and partner development

  • Act as a trusted advisor and strategic team leader to sales and company executives to influence product roadmap, solutions capabilities, and strategic partnerships

Required skills

  • 15+ years of technical leadership experience, recruiting and developing high performance teams and developing joint solutions with strategic partners

  • Focus on results and ability to collaborate and influence a win as a team environment

  • Excellent people management skills with a passion for coaching and developing others to their highest potential

  • Proven leadership skills inspiring people and building a business from startup to scale

  • Solid understanding of the hybrid cloud infrastructure, hyperscaler technologies, and cloud ecosystem

  • Excellent interpersonal skills communicating and collaborating with business and technical Proven ability to work collaboratively with product management and product engineering; record of serving as a trusted and objective advisor

  • Adaptable and flexible; able to work and thrive in a highly dynamic environment

  • Self-starter who will take the initiative to develop best practices for enablement and growth
