Recruiter Westfield, MA \$59,510.59 - \$89,265.89 Annually Department: Human Resources Job Status: Full-Time FLSA Status: Exempt Grade: 10 Reports to: VP/Human Resources Manager Amount of Travel Required: Some Travel Positions Supervised: N/A POSITION SUMMARY Under the direction of the Vice President/Human Resource Manager, the Recruiter is responsible for the researching, developing, and implementing effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the organization. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the bank. Works closely with managers to gain a comprehensive understanding of the company\'s hiring needs for every role, and to meet competitive hiring goals and expectations. Remains active with job boards, social networks, and platforms for finding quality candidates, and creates and posts open positions. Maintains both internal and external job posting sites. Screens applications, schedule interviews and manage job candidates throughout the hiring process, from interview preparation to final-offer negotiation. Coordinates new hire orientation with Training and Branch Administration. Maintains the database of candidate records, including active and passive prospects. Keeps abreast of trends and innovative recruiting techniques to be competitive in the latest recruitment practices. Attends and participate in job fairs and recruiting sessions. Ensures a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process. Tracks and reports on recruitment metrics, turnover, new hires and promotions on a quarterly basis. Prepares weekly reports detailing recruitment efforts for Retail Banking. Responsible for the reporting of data needed to complete the annual Affirmative Action Plan. Assists in review and approval of employee Annual Performance Appraisals. Engages employees through new hire 40-day check ins, branch visits and exit interviews. Manages and tracks 12-month touchpoints for all new employees during their first year of employment. Files the EEO-1 reports on an annual basis. Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies. Must complete BSA, AML, and other Regulatory and Continuing Education as assigned. Must adhere to all bank and regulatory policies and procedures specific to position. Performs additional duties as assigned. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Competencies Adaptability/Flexibility Communication Decision Making/Judgment Interviewing Skills Quality Education/Experience/Skills Bachelor\'s Degree preferred, or the equivalent work-related experience required. Must have at least five years managing all phases of the recruitment. Working knowledge of applicant tracking and HRIS systems. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills
