Viability Marketing Communications Intern in Westfield, Massachusetts
Position: Marketing Communications Intern
Location: Remote
Rate of Pay: $16.00 per hour
Hours: 10 hours per week
Schedule: Monday - Saturday, at least 3 hours worked weekly on Monday - Friday between 8:30am - 4:40pm
Summary:
Viability, Inc. is seeking a reliable, motivated, and enthusiastic Marketing and Communications Intern to join our team. The internship is a six-month paid apprenticeship. This opportunity will provide the intern with valuable experience and mentorship in the marketing and communications field.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist with the development and execution of marketing campaigns.
Assist with creating and managing social media content.
Writing, editing, and cataloging marketing materials electronically.
Research outreach opportunities
Conduct online market research.
Qualifications:
Full or Part Time college student currently enrolled in a Marketing, Communications, or similar program.
Strong interest in marketing and communications, and a passion for making a difference in the lives of people with disabilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative suite
Experience with social media platforms including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, etc.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to travel to various program sites is a plus.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Bilingual reading and writing in Spanish and English is a plus.
