Viability Marketing Communications Intern in Westfield, Massachusetts

Position: Marketing Communications Intern

Location: Remote

Rate of Pay: $16.00 per hour

Hours: 10 hours per week

Schedule: Monday - Saturday, at least 3 hours worked weekly on Monday - Friday between 8:30am - 4:40pm

Summary:

  • Viability, Inc. is seeking a reliable, motivated, and enthusiastic Marketing and Communications Intern to join our team. The internship is a six-month paid apprenticeship. This opportunity will provide the intern with valuable experience and mentorship in the marketing and communications field.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the development and execution of marketing campaigns.

  • Assist with creating and managing social media content.

  • Writing, editing, and cataloging marketing materials electronically.

  • Research outreach opportunities

  • Conduct online market research.

    Qualifications:

  • Full or Part Time college student currently enrolled in a Marketing, Communications, or similar program.

  • Strong interest in marketing and communications, and a passion for making a difference in the lives of people with disabilities.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative suite

  • Experience with social media platforms including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, etc.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to travel to various program sites is a plus.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Bilingual reading and writing in Spanish and English is a plus.
