Summary
As a Key Account Manager of ESS Sales, you will take care of key customers such as distributors, installers, or direct channels to achieve sales target and contribute on revenue of residential ESS products.
Responsibilities:
Manage customer relationship to increase sales via distributors, installers, or direct sales channels
Promote LGES’ residential battery systems to customers and support sales training/marketing activities for the sales growth together with customers
Closely work with customers to resolve pain points that they have when dealing with LGES residential ESS battery systems
Develop annual or monthly sales plans based on market demand & competitive dynamics
Implement sales plans including coordinating efforts with PCS/EMS partners
Evaluate current sales activities
Develop new sales channel and business opportunities with business insight into home battery market
Submit sales and marketing reports including market/competition insights as well as LGES’ market share sensing in US market for residential battery systems
Proactively communicate with colleagues, third-party partners, and customers as needed using remote/virtual tools such as cellular phone, WebEx, Microsoft Teams, and other similar tools
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in a technical or business/marketing discipline or related field required, MBA or MS preferred, or equivalent, relevant experience .
Experience:
7+ years of work experience in sales and marketing of renewable energy such as PV/PCS and/or battery industry
Proven record of achieving sales and/or business success in an energy-related field
Experience with installation/sales/marketing of energy storage systems or renewable energy products or systems is highly desirable
Experience with TPOs, home battery suppliers, distributors or PV/ESS battery installation companies is highly desirable
Skills:
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
Professional, highly motivated individual with a strong results-oriented work ethic
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to travel extensively throughout North America and occasionally to South Korea
Ability to organize/host and/or participate in conference calls with residential ESS team members often across multiple time zones and sometimes outside of normal business hours
Benefits:
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $91,400 – $172,423 + bonus + benefits
