Job Description
The Global Sr. Strategic Marketing Manager, Single-Use Endoscopy will be the marketing lead and subject matter expert for a critical medical device business segment. This individual will serve as the Global Marketing core team lead for new product development projects while also supporting the business unit’s portfolio of products currently in the market.
This individual will work with the Director to identify and develop new business and product opportunities for the global market. In doing so, this individual interfaces closely with R&D, RA/QA, operations, business units and downstream marketing to establish potential for revenue, profit, and market share. Responsibilities will range from taking products from concept through commercial release including launch planning.
Additionally, this individual is responsible for acting as the department liaison with the compliance department to ensure all HCP interactions are conducted in a compliant manner.
Job Duties
Serve as global marketing lead for the single-use endoscopy business.
Derive a deep understanding of customer requirements / user needs through formal primary market research and procedural expertise, including conducting VOC research with an external company
Develop business cases and early opportunity assessments for new product development programs, including strategic rationale, revenue modelling and return on investment.
Interface with cross-functional project teams providing the guidance necessary to develop world class products that meet customers’ needs
Conduct product market acceptance studies and clinical validation activities, including management of HCP contracts as needed.
Support strategic business plan process and product launch roadmaps to ensure appropriate balance between short-term and long-term opportunities.
Monitor market trends including competition, procedural/market growth, regulatory, reimbursement, clinical literature and emerging technologies.
Partner with business units to ensure that regional commercial teams around the world have best in class launch playbooks and tools/programs for commercialization, including value proposition, clear messaging and segmentation.

Job Qualifications
Required:
BS/BA degree required, with MBA preferred.
Minimum 5 years of experience within medical devices, diagnostics, and/or pharmaceuticals.
Minimum 6 years of business experience is required (ideal candidate will have a blend of new product development, marketing product innovation, upstream marketing).
Ability To travel up to 25%, including international.
Preferred:
Global marketing experience preferred.
Experience with medical scopes is strongly preferred.
Outstanding written and verbal presentation and communication skills.
Strong project management skills and tangible experience achieving results, including leading primary market research and early stage assessments.
Ability to achieve results by working cross-functionally and collaboratively with a matrixed organization.
Thorough understanding of financial statements, market modelling, competitive analysis and budgeting.
Ability to turn detailed data analyses into succinct, useful strategic insight to guide business decisions, including surveying and analyzing external market factors to generate implications.
