The Channel Company has a great opportunity for a Digital Designer to join our Marketing Services team in Westborough, MA. This position is a great opportunity for someone to act as a key contributor with our branding and creative development with the ability to act as both a visual artist and interface designer.
Responsibilities and Duties
Ensure visual consistency of customer experience and brand voice across various touch points (banners, email campaigns, tablet, websites, infographics, etc).
Plan, organize, and execute design concepts that deliver on business goals, and are technically feasible to implement.
Define creative briefs, refine deliverables against business goals, and ensure desired business & brand outcomes.
Conceptualize and create pixel-perfect design mockups and user experiences from sketches, drupal templates, wireframes, and creative briefs.
Develop visual representation using graphic design tools; accountable for the execution for marketing, web and digital environment design.
Assess impact of change requests on website and custom microsite architecture; generate options/implications; advise team members and project managers.
Develop process, procedures and practices for good digital design.
Manage creative deliverables within project timelines and brand guidelines.
Contribute to the development of the marketing team?s quality and standards.
Ability to meet tight deadlines
Ability to adjust direction quickly and accurately on the fly
Qualifications and Skills
A degree in Graphic Design or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience with a minimum 2-3 years of relevant work experience such as doing interaction design in digital marketing, product design, and advertising or experience designing exceptional web-based products for a consumer-oriented website.
Superior knowledge of design-applicable programs such Adobe Creative Cloud.
Must have advanced knowledge of HTML5 and CSS and experience styling responsive websites through CSS.
Strong understanding of online and offline design processes; knowledge of what is possible and what will be hard to achieve and/or implement in a digital environment.
Organized, excellent communication skills, and an ability to work in collaborative groups, either as a team lead or as a contributor.
Strong powerpoint skills a plus.
