Behind the Design Designer Sales Consultant in Westborough, Massachusetts

Behind the Design is looking for a Designer Sales Consultant to join our design team in the greater Boston area. As a Designer Sales Consultant, you will specify high-end window treatment designs for our luxury clientele. Using your love of color and working with textiles and existing design elements, you will work inside the client’s space to create stylish, statement designs.

  • Paid Training - A base stipend of $800 a week for 3 months during an extensive hands-on training program that will guarantee your success out of the gate.

  • Compensation – We provide a commission plan that provides endless opportunities of $65k+ in the first year with the potential to make six figures in subsequent years.

Responsibilities:

  • Executing in-home consultations using different textiles and fabrics to help design and sell clients’ dream window coverings.

  • Writing up detailed specs after the in-home sales process, and following the customer relationship through to a satisfactory installation.

  • Consistently re-engaging with potential clients and current clients to foster a strong repeat/referral book of business for a long career-filled pipeline.

  • Joining networking groups throughout the community to help build business rapport with new accounts and help expand our network.

Requirements:

  • Five years of sales experience is preferred

  • A passion for design and the thrill of selling design components

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

  • Proven organizational skills and demonstrable attention to detail

  • Ability to function well in fast-paced environments
