The Rockport Group Digital Marketing Manager in West Newton, Massachusetts

Responsibilities

  • Create the strategic and tactical plans for Rockport to achieve its digital marketing objectives and leverage partners from across the business to help align your vision

  • Lead strategy to drive qualified traffic to Rockport’s ecommerce site through paid search, paid social, display, organic search, and affiliate channels

  • Create and manage the marketing content calendar, keeping leadership apprised of all upcoming online marketing campaigns, promotions, and other initiatives

  • Collaborate with digital content team to plan, manage, and execute digital marketing strategies across paid digital channels

  • Manage budgets and shift dollars to achieve revenue targets. Manage third party agencies to budget and revenue goals, challenging strategies and upholding deadlines

  • Manage invoice tracking, performance reporting and analysis of marketing campaigns and programs.

  • Develop and maintain reports to measure effectiveness of programs, and various campaigns.

  • Provide performance analysis and execute on insights to meet business objectives.

  • Adopt strict measurement practices to prove the value of digital marketing initiatives and manage the success of campaigns with analytical rigor

  • Work with SEO agency and key internal stakeholders to plan and implement necessary best practice site and content optimizations to grow organic search traffic and revenue; as well as track and assess total search performance

  • Plan and launch A/B tests for landing page optimization, ad copy, promotional cadence and segment discovery partnering across ecommerce functions

  • Work closely with digital design and digital copywriting to create required assets

  • Manage multiple external vendors/agencies and track progress on execution across all channels

  • Report on key performance metrics to optimize campaigns; share with internal stakeholders; influence budget allocation; and influence creative decisions

  • QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, internet technologies or digital marketing which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities

  • Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 5+ years professional experience in digital marketing, and a strong knowledge of the digital marketing landscape, with proven demonstrable expertise

  • Strong experience with Google Analytics

  • Proven ability to manipulate, analyze and utilize information to drive decision making

  • Solid understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO

  • Experience managing key vendor relationships

  • Proven track record managing marketing channels and optimizing performance

  • Self-motivated with a collaborative spirit

  • Comfortable working in a lean and fast-paced environment

  • Previous experience in fashion/apparel/retail/footwear preferred
