CVS Health Director, Strategic Marketing - Clinical Transform in Wellesley, Massachusetts

Job Description

Dynamic leader to direct a team of strategic product marketers in the development and delivery of transformative clinical products that deliver better health outcomes and lower the overall costs of care. As part of Transformation Marketing, this role is responsible for working directly with Product in a cross-functional team atmosphere to launch clinical products/programs that range from women’s health to behavioral health, to Seniors. We are enabling the future programs that will be utilized by our Retail, Pharmacy Benefits and Health Care Management businesses to create a better healthcare experience. The role seeks an individual with a record in designing and launching integrated B2B product strategies to drive conversion and user adoption, as well as ongoing CRM/consumer engagement via integrated, omnichannel marketing campaigns.

Fundamental Components

Transformation Marketing is looking for an innovative, consumer-centric, Strategic Marketing Director who is passionate about creating market-defining health experiences in emerging categories like behavioral health, women’s health, wellness and seniors. We’re looking for someone with a proven track record in leading multichannel marketing teams, navigating large organizations, and working in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment. Of course, being constantly inspired and excited by the ever-changing healthcare environment is a must!

This role is responsible for the development of architecting and executing integrated marketing strategies that will drive awareness and inspire adoption of innovative clinical products and services across the CVS Health Enterprise, which includes our Health Care business, Pharmacy Benefits Management business and Retail. Sitting at the intersection of the consumer, product design and marketing, this role is responsible for shaping new product ideas for internal stakeholders and their customers, and designing tailored strategies for each. Being able to thrive and excel alongside highly dynamic, cross-functional teams across all of CVS Health’s business units is critical to success.

This role is meant for a seasoned, collaborative, omni-channel product marketing leader that knows how to turn insights into breakthrough marketing strategy and digital experiences – with a strong background in B2B marketing, digital, and B2C.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop end-to-end marketing strategy and KPIs to support growth

  • Lead direct team of strategic marketers; collaborate with cross-functional leaders to define product categories, forecasts, budgets and timelines

  • Influence campaign strategy across other CVS business units for internal adoption of channel execution and KPIs

  • Create campaign goals and objectives, and compile briefs to support execution and implementation with our internal/external creative agencies

  • Develop omni-channel acquisition marketing strategies that evolve through ongoing analysis

  • Create personas based on marketing insights and user research that will help drive adoption and continued engagement

  • Make channel acquisition plans and DTC/B2B strategies based on all available communication channels

  • Participate in UX/UI user testing and translate results into better marketing and app experiences

  • Develop, execute and monitor the marketing strategy and supporting CRM activities for continued engagement

  • Inspire those around you with how you work and treat others

Background Experience

10+ years of progressive experience in marketing or related field, focused on marketing strategy/execution

Experience managing both cross functional/matrix teams and teams of direct reports.

Demonstrated experience in B2B and B2B2C marketing strategy and execution

Experience in Product, Marketing, Brand Management, Agencies, or Consulting roles a must

Experience in program, project, and vendor management

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or other related field, or related experience

Previous clinical marketing experience a plus, but not required

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Percent of Travel Required
