National Grid US Director, Head of Digital Engineering in Waltham, Massachusetts
To be responsible for driving a step change in the quality (higher satisfaction), quantity (more transactions) and capability (more options) of National Grid's digital channels.
Work closely with management and provide team leadership for digital delivery groups to ensure that organizational goals are communicated to the team and that group direction is consistent with corporate strategy, direction and growth objectives.
Lead the development, review and administration of digital delivery products and services, monitoring performance and effectiveness of those programs to ensure effectiveness and customer satisfaction by utilizing market research data, business strategy, customer segmentation, to ensure profitability for National Grid.
Partner with National Grid leadership to ensure that marketing activity goals are communicated to the digital delivery team and that group direction is consistent with corporate strategy, direction and growth objectives.
Work with process owners, management and peer managers to identify and implement business process improvement and best practices in a consistent manner; and remain abreast of changing technologies and industry best practices.
Provide guidance and coaching to team members to ensure their effective development to meet their personal aspirations and future business needs.
Manage regulatory relationships to ensure regulators and other stakeholders are kept up to date and comply with relevant National Grid policies, standards, processes and programmes.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement and value for money by challenging current processes, methods of project and scheme costing and cost control.
Supervisory/Interpersonal- Experience Required
- Strong oral and written communications skills.
Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, engineering, mathematics, accounting or other Analytical discipline
Substantial years of related experience or equivalent work experience.
Advanced degree/credits are preferred
