New England Donor Services Transplant Relations Manager in Waltham, Massachusetts
The Transplant Relations Manager will be responsible for building and cultivating relationships with transplant program leaders and staff, provide education and understanding of the organ donation process to maximize the utilization of organs. The Transplant Relations Manager will perform regular and ongoing follow-up with transplant programs related to the organ allocation processes to improve efficiency and accountability. The Transplant Relations Manager will engage with transplant programs through the recovery surgeon application and approval process and coordinate the recovery surgeon review process within NEDS. * Provides ongoing support, consultation, donor follow-up, and education to the transplant centers to ensure that all aspects of the donation process are understood, supported, practiced, and implemented. * Represents New England Donor Services at transplant center meetings to address opportunities for improvement and receive feedback for NEDS opportunities for improvement. * Provides data and report outs at the request of transplant centers to improve acceptance practices, as well as ongoing communication of any/all transplant program updates to NEDS leadership team. * Identifies research opportunities with local transplant centers and works with the NEDS Research Committee to accelerate research protocol application and implementation. * Collaborates with hospital development staff in Region 1 transplant centers to ensure alignment with hospital relations strategies and maintain a positive image and presence of NEDS. * Coordination of meetings and ongoing collaboration between transplant programs and NEDS Organ Donation Services leadership. * Collaborates with Education and Development team to assemble standardized training materials to be provided to transplant program staff related to the organ donation process with a focus on allocation expectations. _KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:_ * Skilled Presenter: Responsible for the development and delivery of presentations for transplant center partners *Data Analysis: ability to collect, analyze, and present data to identify patterns, trends, and relationships among variables. Diplomacy: Skilled at working with external stakeholders, building positive relationships while holding each accountable to expected practices and procedures surrounding the organ allocation and donation process Computer & Application Literacy: proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, Zoom, Articulate 360 or other authoring tools to facilitate interactive learning and webinars. Project Management Skills: demonstrated ability to organize and manage multiple projects, adapt to changing priorities and utilize time-management skills to meet deadlines. Interpersonal and Communication Skills: * Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
