Location/Division Specific Information

We are looking for a Sr. Manager of Content Marketing in the Boston area to join our eCommerce and digital marketing team focused on laboratory products.

This role is part of the Laboratory Products Division (LPD) which unites deep scientific expertise, a collaborative culture and rich resources to deliver the lab equipment and consumables that our customers need to achieve their scientific goals – quickly, reliably and safely. Our smart lab solutions make it faster and easier for our customers to focus on what matters most – delivering answers and innovations that save and improve lives.

How will you make an impact?

Individuals in this role will help craft the content strategy and make our division best in class with customers when it comes to product selection and engaging content. You will help set the standard on how a company like ours can provide value to its customers and bring a creative mindset to think differently about what good content looks like.

What will you do?

  • Build a unifying content strategy across channels, finding new and unique ways to distribute assets to our audiences.

  • Profile the customer base and build personas for segmentation.

  • Manage execution of content development for improved conversion and usability.

We feel strongly that content is critical to success. You will be responsible for helping develop our digital content strategy for our website, as well as facilitate our content distribution plans offsite. The view of content will span far beyond the words on the page to aspects of on-site funnel optimization, cross selling, on-site promotional campaigns, and ensuring we capture the most value from our customers visit. In addition, we need an individual who can help determine how we take new products to market and identify the appropriate mix of products to appeal to the most customers.

How will you get here?

BA/BS degree required, marketing focus preferred.

Experience

  • 5-8 years of experience in digital marketing, advertising, or consulting

  • Experience managing a team executing on content development

  • Experience maintaining an eCommerce strategy with a diverse product mix

  • Experience with web analytics platforms (e.g. Google Analytics, Adobe Web Analytics, etc.)

  • Experience with automation/CRM platforms (e.g. Eloqua, Salesforce, Siebel, etc.)

  • Experience executing on social platforms (e.g. LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, etc.)

  • Exceptional project management skills

  • Analytical approach to problem solving

  • A team-oriented mindset and the ability to work with a wide range of individuals

  • Ability to influence various stakeholders at multiple levels of the organization

  • Excellent written communication & copywriting skills
