Do you possess the strategic panache and storytelling flair to command an organization’s social media channels? Commonwealth is seeking an experienced marketer to invigorate and innovate the social media activity of our trustworthy and thriving financial services company.
As the social media manager, you will set the vision for Commonwealth’s branded social media channels by leading strategy, execution, performance measurement, and ROI analysis. You will collaborate with External Communications colleagues and key internal departments, as well as leverage customer and market insights, to drive best-in-class channel operations and community management. You have a passion for experimenting, testing, and scaling successful programs that amplify our messages with the right audiences at the right time to influence their consideration of Commonwealth.
Establishing the owned, earned, and paid social media strategy
Curating, creating, and scheduling content, including copy, graphics, videos, and images
Monitoring, moderating, and responding to audience comments
Strategizing and executing social media marketing campaigns, both paid and organic
Energize the role of social media for brand and business growth, and is active as a social media thought leader
Envisioning and managing social media partnerships
Gathering and evaluating social media reports and analytics; optimize efforts based on performance-driven metrics and learnings
Prepare for, guide launch of, and own employee advocacy program
Strategic planner who can turn a vision into tactics
Deep knowledge aligning content with channel to optimize engagement
Expertise in soliciting and responding to conversations across channels
Creative and critical thinker who can spot and act on opportunity in real time
Experience using paid strategies across various social channels
Excellent oral, written, interpersonal communications and presentation skills
Demonstrated ability to take ownership and initiate work in a highly collaborative environment
Impeccable attention to detail
Highly organized and able to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks in a high-volume setting
Strong copywriting skills and visual intelligence
Understanding of social media management, tracking, and listening tools Continuous learner who will keep pace with evolving trends
Additional Skills and Knowledge
Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, marketing, or related field
7+ years of experience in social media management, with a track record of success
Proficiency with LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and Instagram
Knowledge of SEO and SEM best practices
Experience with social media advertising and Google Ads
