The Senior Director, Global Talent Acquisition will report to the VP, Global Talent Acquisition with a matrix reporting line to the Vice President Human Resources of the Business Group. This role is responsible for creating and deploying talent acquisition strategies across the business to strengthen the organization's capabilities and to ensure the business has the talent required to meet current and future business plans. The successful candidate will serve in a TA Business Partner capacity as a strategic partner to the Group/Division HR leaders and teams, acting as an extended team member and single point of contact for global talent acquisition strategies, plans, and activities. He or she will work closely with the Group/Division HR team and the Business Leaders to understand business priorities, hiring forecasts, and location strategies to calibrate against recruiting capability, resource plans, and operating budget.
As a key leader within the global Center of Excellence (COE) for Talent Acquisition (and company Talent platform), this role supports the implementation of process improvements as the COE continues to optimize the use of existing and new processes, tools, technologies, and vendor relationships to ensure the function is delivering strong business impact and shareholder value.
Establish Group/Division level talent acquisition strategies globally
Partner with HR team to define future hiring demand aligned to business priorities, Talent strategy, and AOP
Translate hiring demand signal to actionable talent attraction/acquisition initiatives with global reach and regional implementation
Drive TA priorities within the business and execute through regional delivery teams ensuring an OneHR partnership
Align with Talent Platform, Executive TA, TA Deployment and Talent Attraction (e.g. Emerging Talent, Diversity) to deliver a one-team approach to Talent Acquisition
Act as a global conduit across TA ensuring BU hiring priorities are understood, resourced & executed
Build collaborative partnerships globally with TA deployment and put mechanisms in place to input into Group/Division staffing plans at the initial planning phase i.e. target hire dates, talent availability etc.
Guide strategic hiring projects (e.g. acquisitions, emerging markets, location/function/profile strategies, targeted diversity recruiting, etc.)
Support talent priorities (e.g. leader standard work, quality of hire, early talent, pipeline development, colleague referrals, diversity talent attraction, etc.)
Set expectations, understand critical hiring demand, and drive prioritization to enable successful recruiting delivery
Drive value through market intelligence, hiring analytics, and reporting
Monitor trending, progress against HR metrics, and drive activity to deliver on Group/Division talent goals
Hold regular hiring insight reviews with HR and provide talent acquisition subject matter expertise for MBRs/QBRs which focus on Revenue, Profitability, R&D/New Products & Colleagues
Leverage TA expertise and labor market analytics to advise and deliver optimal sourcing and branding campaigns
Ensure alignment around requisition management
Serve as primary point of contact for global talent acquisition strategies, plans & activities
Consult with HR and the business on TA priorities, initiatives, deployment, and reporting
Serve as point of escalation for hiring-related issues and concerns
Manage communication to stakeholders regarding TA policy and procedural changes, and ensure Leader and Recruiter Standard Work
Drive alignment between Global Talent Acquisition leads to maximize effectiveness and leverage initiatives
BA/BS Degree In Business, Human Resources/Industrial Relations or related field.
10+ years of progressive experience in HR/Talent Acquisition leadership roles.
Experience with process improvement tools and human capital metrics.
Internet savvy and experienced in social media, brand and networking.
Excellent project management skills, strong business acumen and effective process orientation.
Proven experience in building organizational capability and expertise in recruiting top talent.
Excellent people leadership skills.
Proven track record of effectively influencing and navigating across organizational boundaries and building strong partnerships within the businesses supported that produce results.
