We are looking for a passionate digital marketer who drives the global programmatic display efforts within the Biosciences Division (BID), nested under the Life Sciences and Laboratory Products Group (LSLPG).

The ideal candidate has expertise in display advertising, including programmatic strategy and buying, as well as a solid grasp of social media and related digital marketing channels.

What you will do:

  • Own the global BID display channel strategy

  • Work closely with external agency on bringing the channel strategy to life

  • Collaborate with team members to develop, execute and measure cohesive digital marketing campaigns, aligned with business partner goals

  • Work closely with our Channel Analytics team to define and build performance reporting

  • Continuously analyze data to make relevant performance optimizations based on important metrics

  • Evaluate campaign management processes, making recommendations for areas of improved efficiency

  • Ensure that monthly and quarterly budgets are fully spent and optimized to deliver high performance while recommending budget distribution to improve performance

  • Lead regular meetings with our partners to communicate campaign performance and strategy updates

  • Test, evaluate and implement new strategies and technologies, as well as influence the wider corporate marketing organization to adopt and deploy emerging digital marketing tactics and technologies

  • Align with regional digital partners to understand regional needs and bring the global strategy to life

  • Stay up to date with the digital marketing industry and trends

  • Lead knowledge sharing sessions on the Programmatic Display channel (e.g. standard methodologies, strategy, industry updates, etc.)

  • Up to 5-10% travel

How you will you get there:

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree required

Experience

Required

  • Validated experience in B2C or B2B digital marketing, advertising or eCommerce

  • Strong understanding of programmatic display and its development within the industry

  • In-depth experience running and optimizing programmatic display within a DSP or an ad exchange (e.g. Adobe Ad Cloud, Sizmek, DV360, Amazon DSP, The Trade Desk)

  • Proven track record of creating, optimizing and reinventing campaigns to constantly improve results

  • Experience prioritizing multiple strategic clients including ownership and oversight of large budgets

Preferred

  • Experience with analytics tools (e.g. PowerBI, Adobe Analytics)

  • Strong Excel skills for bulk operations and process improvements

  • Understanding of DMP management, including 1st party, 2nd party and 3rd party data

  • Experience with backlog management tools (e.g. WorkFront, Jira)

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Ability to present to a variety of business partners

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to analyze large data sets from multiple sources

  • Use data and dashboards and communicate keen insights on improving critical metrics

  • Strong time management, planning and prioritization skills

  • Self-starter who identifies and leads process or channel improvement efforts

  • Standout colleague with a positive demeanor who goes above and beyond to accomplish business objectives

  • Attention to detail

  • Experience in agile methodology within a marketing organization is a plus
