Energetic resourceful and organized person with an engineering or technical marketing background to help manage the upstream marketing activities of the OSSA NDT Portable Product Line consisting of industrial NDT instrumentation and digital solutions. This includes establishing strong technical and global market expertise in products related to the Portable NDT portfolio and using that knowledge in contribution to new product definition, development, and launch activities.
In a typical day, you will:
Brings a deep understanding of the operation applications and technical design of the assigned Olympus instrumentation and digital solutions.
Support new product development as directed by the Product Line Director and other senior management by contributing to market segment and product requirement research activities.
Take a lead role in the development, launch, and commercialization of selected products.
Solicit market feedback to guide product line technical development through key account interactions and internal strategic planning activities. Support new product validation in collaboration with Product Director.
Communicate product portfolio strategic and core technical value to internal personnel and customers in a variety of environments, including planning meetings, webinars, on-site customer engagements, and digital media.
Up to 30% domestic and international travel to engage global sales force and key customers for market research and product strategy development.
Development of key product launch resource materials including training presentations, informative videos, marketing documents, and web site content.
Collaborate with multiple business departments including downstream marketing, global marketing and communications, global business centers global sales representatives, business development managers, engineering, and commercial operations to complete daily tasks.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree required; Science or Engineering preferred.
Minimum 5 years of experience in an applications technical support technical sales or product development environment.
Previous experience with OSSA NDT product line management and support.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to thrive in an international business environment.
Ability to coordinate and motivate people who do not work for you.
Ability to work as an individual or in a team setting.
