Commonwealth Financial Network Product Marketing Manager, Brand Studio in Waltham, Massachusetts

Now, we’re looking for a product marketing manager to join our ranks! As a member of our Advisor Marketing team, you will lead the product strategy and creative efforts of our Brand Studio platform. Brand Studio provides our advisors with resources and services in a centralized portal and serves as our engine for strategic advisor marketing support. In addition to supporting our ongoing platform evolution, you will lead efforts to develop new functionality and integrations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading and maintaining the product roadmap to achieve business goals; presenting to leadership on roadmap performance in alignment with goals

  • Overseeing the day-to-day delivery of product enhancements and maintenance; providing expertise on balancing resources for increased efficiencies

  • Implementing product priorities and project milestones, as well as working with dedicated project management to ensure appropriate development and timelines

  • Managing associates who work on the platform, including UX/UI designers, graphic designers, project managers, and writers

  • Guiding the content management of marketing resources, including marketing education and client-facing content

  • Fostering day-to-day vendor relationships that support and integrate with the product

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, particularly our dedicated IT development team, on the development and release of products

  • Evaluating issues and opportunities, providing resolutions and ideas, and communicating to senior management

  • Coordinating multiple workstreams and third-party vendors in support of our proprietary and third-party tool set

Core Strengths

  • Competent team manager, especially with cross-functional teams

  • Strong strategic, critical thinking, and conceptual abilities; capable of leading strategic planning discussions

  • Agile creative development and resource management

  • Exceptional interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills

  • Solid understanding of the product development lifecycle and history of successful previous launches

  • Excellent listening and problem-solving skills

  • Outstanding time management, organizational, and project management skills

  • Detail oriented with the ability to multitask; can deliver under pressure

Additional Skills and Knowledge

  • 5+ years of proven experience in a marketing product development role; marketing experience a plus

  • Proven history leading cross-functional teams

  • Knowledge of financial services industry a plus

  • Understanding of project management tracking tools like Workfront, Jira, Confluence, and SharePoint
