We are looking for an ambitious Product Manager to join our Nucleic Acid Therapeutics team in the US. Nucleic Acid Therapeutics (NATx) is one of Thermo Fisher Scientific’s fastest growing businesses with a significant focus on enabling mRNA-based therapies.

The Product Manager will be responsible market and product strategy and routine execution of a growing business segment focusedon Nucleic Acid Therapeutics. This position will lead global product strategies, drive innovative solutions to customer challenges, lead day-to-day operations for top line growth and profitability, and provide market leadership in the development of innovative products.

Reporting to the NATx Director of Product Management, the position is crucial to identifying future product requirements and implementing an outstanding customer experience in the growing and evolving field of mRNA vaccines and therapeutics. The successful Product Manager will define and drive strategies and tactical process development activities aimed at business growth.

What will you do?

• Ensure responsible and accountable life cycle management for specific products, including product complaints.

• Develops product development, positioning, and go-to market strategies to enable financial objectives.

• Lead & manage programs from concept to commercialization (full product lifecycle). Responsible for developing five year product strategies, and pricing/margin optimization

• Provide product management support in business negotiations

• Facilitate the Voice of Customer (VOC), enabling data driven decision-making across the portfolio

• Responsible for working closely with the cross functional teams and ultimately to deliver customer and financial success of new product introductions (NPIs)

Who we are looking for:

Education:

• Bachelors Degree required, preferably in Biology, Chemistry or Business similar.

• Masters or PhD level preferred

Experience/Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

• Prior experience in product management or product development & commercialization role, plus competitive market research skills

• Basic knowledge of the fundamental concepts of intellectual property, patents and contract law

• Knowledge of Nucleic Acid Therapeutics industry and manufacturing quality standards an advantage

• Highly detail-orientated, efficient and organized mindset

• Fluent in English,
