Commonwealth Financial Network Product Manager - CRM in Waltham, Massachusetts

We’re looking for a product manager to join our ranks. Do you love finding creative solutions to business problems using technology? Are you adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment? Do you want to lead transformational efforts that are mission-critical to our future success? If so, you may be the right fit for our expanding Application Solutions team.

We are looking for someone who is highly analytical and creative to help lead our product efforts. We are evolving our culture of indispensable service to provide efficient solutions at scale. Our team focuses on developing and supporting internal systems, as well as integrating with third-party applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Creating and managing the strategic product roadmap for Commonwealth’s Salesforce platform; aligning the roadmap with corporate strategy objectives

  • Leading efforts to identify and understand user needs; creating detailed requirements for prototype construction and final product development

  • Partnering with key stakeholders to achieve alignment and success metrics through common goals

  • Guiding product owners and business analysts; ensuring implementation plans align with goals

  • Helping Commonwealth adopt data-driven methodologies; using customer insights to influence product decision-making

  • Assessing our buy, build, and partnership implementation options and determining an effective approach

  • Understanding, researching, and following technical trends; evaluating emerging products and companies for their potential value or threat to Commonwealth

  • Recommending new technologies to invest in or leverage

  • Developing and managing business capability maps

  • Assisting with the rationalization of technologies and products across the enterprise

  • Championing product capabilities and helping to drive adoption

  • Facilitating the creation and maintenance of proper product documentation

Core Strengths

  • 5+ years of experience as a product manager

  • Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products

  • 2+ years of experience with Salesforce products (i.e., Service Cloud, Pardot, and Einstein)

  • Experience in the financial services industry a plus

  • Technical background; experience with API management and data integrations

  • Excellent analytical and strategic skills

  • Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred)

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority

  • Examples and at least one sample of an effective document delivered
