Wolters Kluwer Pricing Manager (Go-to-Market Strategy and Monetization) in Waltham, Massachusetts
The Manager GTM Strategy and Monetization will work with our Director GTM Strategy and Monetization to support how we define, develop, and execute on strategic transformation initiatives that elevate Wolters Kluwer’s market presence as a leading B2B SaaS company. This position will work together with colleagues across functions in the business (e.g., product management, pricing, marketing, sales) to develop and implement a structural approach to company-wide processes, frameworks, and tools, including how we position, price and monetize our product portfolio supporting tax, accounting, healthcare, finance, legal, compliance, health & safety, and operational risk professionals. In this role you will help establish and manage a sales and marketing best practice sharing across divisions and business units, as well as manage strategic projects that harmonize and drive material impact across both product and regionally oriented go to market teams.
Strategic GTM & Pricing
In support of projects and overall strategy development, the manager will support the team in data gathering, analysis and consultative guidance for how to evolve and improve Wolters Kluwer’s GTM approaches around product positioning, packaging, pricing and overall revenue growth planning. You will work to incorporate competitive context, economics/profitability, client segmentation, value proposition, offer design (bundles/solutions) and differentiators into optimal recommendations for revenue growth. In addition, you will assist in providing best practices and intelligence as needed (leveraging internal / external insights). You will work closely with product management, marketing, sales and finance to collect and analyze data and promote best practice sharing across Wolters Kluwer.
New/Migration Product Launches
In support of bring new/SaaS products to market, you will conduct market analysis, client segmentation, wallet sizing, offer definition, value-based analysis, business case development and financial modeling and agility with large datasets and related analytics. One of the primary focuses across the business will be to support the transformation from perpetual/initial license fee to subscription based and / or hybrid pricing models in a fast-moving environment for information products, global and local software and services.
Project Management and Communications
As a member of the worldwide corporate strategy team, you will influence and advise cross-cultural & cross-functional teams leveraging strong interpersonal skills, including the management of multiple projects against deliverables & timelines simultaneously involving multiple countries and/or stakeholders. You will synthetize findings from multiple sources and complex analysis to develop fact-based, actionable recommendations supported by thought leadership. Ultimately, we are building and inhouse team focused on driving change to desired model working closely with target business management and stakeholders - including managing ongoing feedback loops to assess effectiveness of adoptions.
Education & Experience
Minimum requirements: Bachelor's degree in business, economics, or a quantitative discipline or equivalent. Master’s degree in business, economics, or a quantitative discipline is a plus
2 years of experience relevant to the role and in scope and size of impact
Experience working within a B2B software GTM team (sales, marketing, product marketing, etc.)
Experience working with consulting firm with similar practices/offerings is a plus
Travel - Occasional project related travel in Europe and US
