This role is part of the partner marketing organization focused on driving and executing joint marketing strategies and programs with key alliance partners. This person works with an extended team (including the partner as well as Hitachi marketing groups) to help define marketing requirements; recommends marketing strategies and associated tactics; then executes and measure success of the programs. The ideal candidate for this role really loves to focus on innovative marketing plans and programs.
Build and execute on a joint go-to-market marketing strategy with the partnerships this strategy includes marketing to the partner, through the partners, with the partner and for these partnerships. Influence key relationships and gain preference for Hitachi Vantara with the alliance partners and in accordance with overall ecosystem marketing goals. Develop and integrate joint value propositions that build awareness for both internal and external audiences. Build, execute and measure joint marketing programs with partners, from marketing campaign concept to creative content development and program execution, including webcast events, live seminars, industry events, online and direct mail campaigns, social media, public relations, etc. Manage marketing funding across the company for programs like Partner MDF. Evaluate and recommend the right marketing investments to support the partnership. Establish metrics and objectives for alliance marketing programs and report against progress. Collaborate and communicate with alliance managers, field sales and marketing teams to amplify and gain support for alliance marketing programs.
Bachelor’s Degree in marketing or related field. Minimum of 6 years marketing programs or partner marketing experience with at least 2 years focused on partner marketing. Knowledge of data and infrastructure market. Results driven and customer focused team player that understands what is required to gain preference and win in the marketplace. Ability to define marketing objectives, execute integrated campaigns, and track and evaluate results. Demonstrated success in messaging, and the latest marketing skill including content, digital and social are key. Must have exceptional communication and writing skills. Desire to collaborate and build consensus in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment. Ability to work independently, establish priorities and demonstrate good judgment skills. Strategic and creative thinker who can deliver results consistently.
