Brandeis University Musical Theater Accompanist in Waltham, Massachusetts
Provides piano accompaniment for all the singing classes in the Theater Dept: THA 22b, THA 105a and THA 106a and other courses as necessary, under the direction of instructor, Nancy Armstrong. Up to now, incumbent comes 8 times a term, for each course, up to two courses per semester. (3 hour classes). Key Job Responsibilities:? Playing piano accompaniment for all THA classes: 70% Playing piano accompaniment for THA production rehearsals: 10% Playing for THA performances: 10% Transposing music for students: 10% Skills & Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree and piano training. Advanced musical training may be substituted for some education.
