This fully remote position, a member of our 18-person creative content team, is part of a five-person national video production team that produces marketing videos to promote technology products and programs, we well as recruiting, retention, and social media videos. We are seeking a creative motion graphics designer with a very strong attention to detail.
Essential Job Duties :
Create dynamic animated 3D video content for marketing videos as well as content to be integrated into various other video projects.
Brainstorm and conceptualize ideas, produce concept sketches and quick concept edits.
Storyboard, design, execute and contribute to video projects that will be used on social media, television, YouTube, custom-sized video boards (arenas, trade shows, events) and digital advertising.
Stay on top of trends in motion design and social media and generate new creative ideas to incorporate motion graphics into our work that will attract attention and stand out from other real estate brands and brokerages.
Work with video editors to animate sections of video that will be integrated into larger video projects, including live action footage.
Work closely with video production manager, video editors, communications director, creative director, graphic designers, copywriters, and social media team to ensure storyboards and projects meet project requirements and are consistent with company branding.
Ensure consistency across all projects (title bars, ending slides, disclaimers, etc.)
The ideal candidate will be:
Creative – Must be able to tell a story, convey a message and communicate an idea using video, all while engaging the audience and making sure it meets our brand guidelines.
Detailed – Must have strong attention to detail, able to ensure all requested changes are done correctly, able to proofread and spot typos, and catch and correct small inconsistencies and errors in work.
Organized – Must have strong organizational skills and be able to manage numerous files.
Multi-Tasker – Must have solid time management skills with a strong sense of urgency, be able to juggle multiple ongoing projects while moving them all forward and meeting daily deadlines, and able to manage own workload without constant supervision and direction.
Strong Communicator – Must be able to deal with difficult clients and successfully convey thoughts and provide answers in person, by phone and through email.
Team Player – Must be comfortable with collaborative process, able to accept critiques and changes to your work without getting offended or irritated. Must be able to work well with others, both within the team and in the field, to create finished product.
Candidates for the position must have:
Strong experience and expertise in using Cinema 4D, Adobe Creative Suite (including Premier, After Effects, Illustrator and Photoshop)
Expertise in 3D modeling of objects, characters, environments, texturing, and lighting
Expertise in rotoscoping, motion tracking and character rigging
Ability to use particle systems and color grading to bring scenes to life
Bachelor’s degree in animation or motion graphic design, or related degree with considerable experience in motion graphic design
