As the Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and leading the global strategy of all marketing and communication executions within the Run Specialty channel. The Marketing Manager creates and executes a marketing plan that will position Saucony as the leader in the running category within the Run Specialty sales channel globally.
Working with regional teams and strategic retail accounts in true partnership, you create global product and brand strategies that support key moments and product launches. Using consumer insights, you anticipate trends in the marketplace and use this knowledge and expertise to deliver innovative programs and campaigns for retailer partners that create brand desire and drive revenue for Saucony.
This role requires that you’re an excellent marketer, teammate, and partner - able to nimbly identify and focus on priority initiatives while working in a fast-paced team environment that requires a high level of collaboration.
Ideates and develops the global channel marketing strategy within Run Specialty, in collaboration with key internal stakeholders.
Supports the execution of marketing & promotional programs for strategic retailers aligned with the overall brand direction and account business objectives. This includes programs, promotions, in-store experiences, digital experiences, go-to-market execution, and key product launches.
Create and maintain relationships with regional sales and marketing leaders, as well as key strategic retail partners.
Closely collaborates with key internal stakeholders – Sales, Brand Marketing, Product Marketing – to achieve goals.
Measures programs, communicate results of sell-in & sell-through in markets.
Manages a budget to ensure alignment with global spend.
Performs duties consistent with the Company’s AAP/EEO goals and policies.
7+ years of marketing experience required, including execution of both digital campaigns and brick & mortar retail programs.
Strong understanding of global markets, international experience preferred.
People oriented with strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to thrive in uncertainty, resolve ambiguity and think quickly on your feet.
A resourceful attitude and positive negotiation skills - you'll be working with a lot of different teams across Saucony and our retail partners.
An entrepreneurial mindset, you roll up your sleeves and dig into complex problems. A big picture thinker with a focus on execution and impact.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Communications, or equivalent work experience.
Experience in the footwear or apparel industry is considered a bonus.
Normal office work environment. Our global Saucony headquarters is in Waltham, MA.
Travel will be required on a regular basis (10-15%).
