Circles, is searching for a Director of Marketing to drive the overall strategy and execution of marketing operations in the U.S.

Compensation range for this role: $85-90k per year, plus 15% annual bonus

Position Overview:

As the Director of Marketing, US you will drive growth through strategic planning, development and execution of key messaging and campaigns through traditional, digital and social media channels. Your goal is to help bring the Circles value proposition and brand to life through storytelling and compelling narrative – for our members, for our clients and for our employees. You will have your finger on the pulse of our industry and be passionate about driving brand awareness, increasing market share, improving member engagement and retaining and winning business.

You will be responsible for leading a team, comprised of Circles staff and third-party agencies, to coordinate and direct all marketing activities throughout the business to ensure we exceed performance for both our B2B and B2C marketing efforts. This is an opportunity to make a real and immediate impact on the business. This role is responsible for the marketing leadership for our fast-growing U.S. business and reports to the US President with dotted line to Global VP of Marketing.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and execute on B2B plans

  • In close collaboration with the cross-functional teams, develop and execute on the U.S. B2B marketing plan – delivering against the commercial targets for both new business, retention and portfolio growth

  • Lead the development, implementation, and measurement of the strategy for generating sales leads, including supporting marketing automation campaigns to meet to meet targets

  • Lead the creation of content, engagement, and thought leadership to sync with PR, social media and digital activations, webinars, case studies, and channel marketing programs.

  • Ensure brand integrity and alignment of our branding through all channels

  • Measure success by analyzing data and adhering to key marketing KPI’s

  • Support large sales presentations and bids

  • Support Account Team and Operations with key client and member collateral and campaigns

  • Develop personalized customer engagement programs, drive activations, better customer experiences, and execute specialized multichannel campaigns for key demographics.

  • Develop creative onsite and remote activation initiatives to increase usage of Circles’ services

  • Support new client implementations and develop unique ways to capture audience and attention during launch of a program

  • Support market with subject matter expertise, trends and actionable insights

  • Manage and develop the Circles US marketing team and third-party agency relationships

  • Ensure maximum efficiencies of marketing resources

  • Identify and implement tools to better support the marketing operation function

  • Develop strategic roadmap using insights, trends and customer behaviors to drive the vision

  • Process marketing intake submissions from various internal stakeholders and manage work prioritization and overall flow


Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing / Communications or equivalent experience

  • 4+ years’ experience in a Marketing or Communications role

  • 2+ years’ experience of managing marketing teams

  • Previous experience with B2B marketing highly desirable, with a focus on lead generation, marketing automation, campaign and journey mapping, account based marketing, SEO, Social, Paid Search and customer campaigns

  • Strong analytical skills - experience with reporting and data analysis

  • Direct experience with CRM tools

  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or other marketing automation tools highly desirable
