The International Operations Specialist will support the International Kids product requirements, acting as a critical liaison between the International community and Global Brand Product and Operations teams. Communicate key International initiatives for Kids Group and work directly with regional stakeholders to facilitate International support of the Brand vision and financial goals. Function as a day-to-day business support of forecasting, order placement and operational requirements.
Direct International process alignment through consistent communication of global planning process, tools, and deadlines:
Communicate operational deadlines and deliverables with International markets, Buy Grids, Order windows, and timelines.
Facilitate International preparation of seasonal market intelligence calls with RMMs to review sell thru, marketing, brand positioning, and business outlook for key Markets/Accounts
Partner to facilitate counter seasonal opportunities with RMM’s
Work with International Finance to finalize and distribute seasonal International Pricelists.
Monitor regional sample requests for global line participation.
Manage Brand Comply for the CAT Kids Line.
Partner with sales and finance to ensure alignment between demand planning forecasts and financial forecasts; communicate any gaps/opportunities:
Create and validate seasonal product forecasts at the stock number level, utilizing brand strategy, trend, account forecasts.
Monitors the flow of orders to support demand and sales plans and arranges fulfillment according to priorities and/or tactics
Consistently monitor changes in production flow, helping anticipate results of these changes, and confirm appropriate adjustments with brand DP when results negatively affect plans and commitments:
Collaborates with Brand DP on short- and long-range production, receipt, and forecasts by stock number, and fiscal period by factory.
Monitor MOQ concerns by category and provide analysis
Perform duties consistent with the Company’s AAP/EEO goals and policies.
Perform other duties as required/assigned by manager.
Bachelor’s degree in merchandising or marketing, or equivalent work experience.
3+ years’ experience including retail buying or product experience, footwear experience a plus.
Detail oriented and highly organized with ability to make decisions, prioritize and problem solve.
Strong presentation skills required.
Demonstrated business acumen, analytical and strategic thinking.
Exceptional interpersonal skills. Ability to listen, negotiate and resolve conflict swiftly and build strong relationships with internal and external partners.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
PowerPoint, Excel, and PLM.
Hybrid office environment (some time in office, some time at home). Some travel may be required. Up to 15%-20% International time-zone collaboration.
