Raytheon Technologies Global Comms Leadership Development Program in Waltham, Massachusetts

The Global Communications Leadership Development Program (GCLDP) is an entry-level, rotational program that cycles through three, eight-month rotations designed to give participants an opportunity to learn and contribute to our various business units across Raytheon Technologies (RTX). The program allows accelerated development opportunities with the goal of growing world class leaders through exposure to cutting edge principles, products and trends, working with leaders and developing the skills and competencies needed to help shape the company's future.

Our commitment to you is to provide front-line, hands-on, meaningful assignments designed to stretch your capabilities and enhance your learning. This program is designed to expose GCLDP associates to foundational experiences with assignments that may include functional support in the following areas: Public and media relations; social and digital media; internal/employee communications; sustainability/corporate responsibility; marketing and advertising; external content development and strategy; event coordination and management; journalistic storytelling; and digital content creation.

Recruiting now for the GCLDP Class of 2025, which begins in June 2023.

Basic qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree with a specialty in communications, journalism, public relations, marketing or in a related field; degree must be obtained between May 1, 2022 – June 30, 2023

At least one relevant internship or co-op experience within the Communications function

Preferred experience with one or more of the following: social media management platforms, graphics or video editing software, web content management systems, social and web analytic tools

Demonstrated leadership, teamwork, communication, interpersonal and analytical skills

Self-motivated, driven and team-oriented

Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2

Ability to travel or relocate anywhere in the United States

Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance*

Preferred qualifications:

Strong commitment and interest in a career within Global Communications

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment with a variety of challenges

Communicate effectively throughout a variety of levels within the organization

Results-driven, specifically when leading, motivating, and influencing others

*This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance. Non-US citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance. The Defense Industrial Security Clearance Office (DISCO), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process.
