As an executive assistant, you will attend board meetings, administer grants, and support home office employees with giving back efforts. You will use your attention to detail and organizational skills as you track donations, spending, and charitable impact.
Receiving and managing grant requests from Commonwealth financial advisors, employees, and Commonwealth Cares board members, as well as writing checks, sending grant letters, and processing grants
Tracking, logging, and depositing incoming funds, outgoing grants, and expenses with direction from the treasurer of Commonwealth Cares
Coordinating and attending board of directors meetings and documenting meeting minutes
Analyzing foundation impact by tracking supported charities, advisor employee efforts, and reoccurring donations
Providing data to the Commonwealth Cares executive director to support strategic decision-making by the board of directors
Collaborating with home office employees to facilitate giving back events
Writing, editing, and sending communications related to Commonwealth’s giving back efforts and assisting in managing the internal communications strategy and schedule
Ordering Commonwealth Cares program supplies and submitting and monitoring the executive director’s expense reports within Commonwealth
Supporting the Commonwealth Cares executive director on ad hoc projects and communicating any issues or problems that arise
Highly organized, adaptable, and detail-oriented
Bookkeeping skills and experience
Flexible with a strong work ethic
Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Self-driven and willing to take initiative to see that the job gets done
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think quickly
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and an open, professional, and friendly demeanor
Please note: This is a part-time position, working 20 hours per week.
