How you will make an impact?
The Director of Global Talent Acquisition Enablement is the leadership steward for all elements of recruiting processes, technology, training and project management. The primary goal of this role is to operationalize our Talent Acquisition strategy through internal resources and best-in-class vendor partners to ensure that Thermo Fisher Scientific has the infrastructure vital to hire the next generation of talent. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a passion for talent acquisition and process improvement.
What will you do?
Lead and develop Global Talent Acquisition Enablement team, elevating strategic and sustainable execution capability across the team
Work closely with the leadership team to define business needs and priorities to ensure comprehensive delivery solutions & strategies
Advocate for user experience - solicit input and feedback from end-users and incorporate into the design/optimization of solutions
Drive operational excellence by continuously evolving our global recruitment delivery model including efficient processes, innovative technology, and compliance
Own the Enablement workstream for all integration activities tied to mergers and acquisitions
Curate impactful insights on our process and performance metrics to enable our distributed team to meet/exceed department goals
Manage vendor partners and facilitate the intersection between our team and our external partners to execute flawlessly.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
At least 10 years of relevant experience required, including a minimum of 5 years managing a team
Proven ability to effectively empower and guide recruiters operationally in high-volume recruiting environments
Proven ability to be flexible, adaptable and collaborative in a fast-past, constantly evolving work environment
Previous experience leading a Talent Acquisition Operations or Enablement team preferred
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Knowledge of state-of-the-art recruitment technology and process management
Strong understanding of OFCCP requirements and current employment laws/regulations
Excellent relationship builder, able to successfully influence at all levels
Superior interpersonal, written, and verbal skills
Demonstrated experience driving change and building consensus to achieve results
Strong business ethics
Ability to work in operational role, yet think strategically
