Commonwealth Financial Network Digital Account Manager in Waltham, Massachusetts

Are you a passionate account manager who enjoys building relationships, managing projects, and developing digital brands to help tell their story?

The digital account manager role at Commonwealth is a crucial function within our Marketing department. In this role, you will be on the front lines of advisor communication and marketing needs. You will develop relationships with Commonwealth’s financial advisors, as well as internal stakeholders, and work to empower all parties to make the most of opportunities. Reporting to the director of advisor brands, this role requires strong digital (website, email, and social media) knowledge of marketing best practices, robust strategic oversight, solid client relationship management experience, knowledge of digital (website, email, and social media) marketing best practices, along with expert project management and communication skills.

Key responsibilities

  • Identifying and serving up strategic solutions to for business problems and engaging directly with financial advisors as a strategic planner

  • Understanding and articulating digital marketing strategy, reviewing website analytics to uncover insights, and using data to support initiatives such as web strategy and design

  • Building strong, sustainable relationships and teams internally and externally, with the ability to deliver streamlined communications

  • Presenting and writing comprehensive creative briefs that inform and guide the work of website writers and designers

  • Leading project management from strategy to execution, including understanding objectives, consumer needs, overall scope, and timeline constraints

  • Working and collaborating with outside marketing partners to achieve optimal results

Additional skills and knowledge

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related discipline

  • 5–7 years of experience in advertising account management, digital marketing strategy, or marketing communications
