The focus of the Creative Services Manager is to develop processes and manage creative projects in a way that maximizes resources and ensures the best creative output for the Sperry brand. This person will be a highly motivated and organized business thinker with a passion for creative strategy. The Creative Services Manager will drive a wide range of projects including but not limited to digital communications, advertising, event promotion/materials, in-store signage, catalogs and other marketing collateral. This position will report into the Creative Director and will work hand-in-hand to manage resources and budgets for the team.
Develop, implement, and manage processes, tools and timelines to deliver creative services projects efficiently and on time.
Manage Creative Services specialist in order to run internal photo studio and manage asset distribution and catalogs.
Liaison with internal and external creative resources to communicate brief requirements, creative review feedback, identify needs and implement systems to manage robust project workflow.
Support and guide the production of seasonal shoots with outside producers
Assist creative marketing team in managing departmental project schedules; facilitate approval process, editing & proofreading, and delivery of final assets. Work with outside vendors to ensure quality in all deliverables, obtain quotes, track production schedules, communicate deliverables, and cultivate productive and cost-efficient relationships
Forecast and manage creative budget, including invoices, budget tracker and vendor management.
Lead all creative review milestone meetings, establishing agendas, defining outputs, and communicating creative and copy direction and edits.
Manage the project briefing system and the digital management site.
Perform duties consistent with the Company’s AAP/EEO goals and policies.
Perform other duties as required/assigned by manager.
5-8+ years creative services project management experience
Solid understanding of creative strategy development
Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to timelines and budgets
Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills required
A solid knowledge of the graphic design process including design, production procedures, printing and photography
Excellent verbal & written communication skills and attention to detail
Experience with product photography and photo shoot execution
Normal office environment. Some travel may be required.
