POSITION: Associate Commercial Loan Administrator

The Associate Commercial Loan Administrator provides support to the Commercial Loan Administration team by assisting in the collection and/or preparation of forms and legal documentation as well as processing extension and modification transactions. They will also provide exceptional customer service to both internal colleagues and external customers.
Key Result Areas:
Handle team’s extension and modification loan transactions from performing required due diligence to preparing the required documentation needed to process the transaction.
Assist the team’s Commercial Loan Administrators in coordinating and completing commercial loan closings by preparing and obtaining any necessary documents for new loans and modifications, while adhering to the terms and conditions in the loan approval summary and regulatory requirements.
Assist in the collection of trailing documents by working with attorneys, paralegals, and lenders to obtain necessary signatures and clear post-closing exceptions.
Review, scan, and file original incoming documents in the bank’s vault and imaging system, including legal packages from attorneys and borrowers, and logging receipt as needed.
Prepare and distribute various daily, weekly, and monthly portfolio reports as needed.
Communicate directly with customers orally and in writing in response to their needs and inquiries while resolving issues within authority level and expertise.
Responsible for team’s document archive management process which includes archiving, shipping, and receiving documents.
Manage department’s shared mailbox by ensuring emails are directed to the applicable Admin and then filed in the appropriate folder.
Handle department’s mail including responsible for the Commercial Division’s outgoing mail via USPS and/or overnight mail.
Handle team’s pipeline process through Salesforce and the bank’s core system.
Run OFAC checks as needed as part of the loan closing process.
Track any expenses associated with loan closings, ensure vendor invoices are submitted for payment and reconcile the vendor general ledger.
Assist manager and/or team leader with special projects as needed.
Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, or business management preferred.
One to three years of banking experience preferred.
Salesforce experience a plus.
Strong organizational and computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to meet critical deadlines with limited supervision in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, utilized to strengthen customer and business partner relationships.
