Sentinel Benefits & Financial Communication Specialist in Wakefield, Massachusetts

The Purpose of Your Role:

We are seeking a creative, enthusiastic individual to join our Customer Experience Team In this new role, you will be a key contributor to communicating with our existing client and participant audiences. As a champion of communication, you will be responsible for helping to drive interest in and adoption of our tools and products.

We are looking to hire someone excited about developing content and communication programs utilizing a variety of methods, including email, video, in-person events, virtual events, and more. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking to demonstrate and grow their client experience marketing skills.

The Expertise we?re looking for:

  • Deliver compelling facts about financial wellness to inspire plan sponsors to adopt and actively promote our services to their employees

  • Increase messaging about the benefits we provide to drive participant understanding and measurable participant action

  • Contribute to the successful launch of new products and services by helping to promote and provide education about these new offerings

  • Thoughtfully deliver our financial wellness offering to participants, plan sponsors, and our internal team to substantially increase the usage of the various components of fly!, our proprietary financial wellness program

  • Innate desire to improve existing processes and surpass the status quo

The Excellence you deliver:

  • Partner with Marketing, Customer Experience, and other teams on the conceptualization, creation and implementation of a range of inbound and outbound campaigns such as email, direct mail, video, etc.

  • Serve as a ?champion? for fly!, both in promoting the program externally to our clients and participants, as well as providing internal support in developing the content necessary for the success of the program

  • Leverage data to drive decision-making

  • Track and provide reporting on the results of various campaigns

  • Develop the creatives for participant benefit enrollment, including presentations and virtual benefit fair content

  • Ability to think outside the box and design appealing customer communications that encourage action

  • Create and maintain automated email programs in Sentinel?s Marketing Automation Program, Act-On

Education, Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor?s degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent work experience

  • 1-3 years experience in a communications or marketing role

  • Strong oral and, especially, written communication skills

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and competing deadlines simultaneously

  • Must be a motivated individual contributor who is also able to work cooperatively as a team member

  • Proven ability to create and distribute content that has high value to the customer base

  • Effective interpersonal skills sufficient to interact with all levels of employees

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Excellent follow-through to ensure thoughtful planning, timely execution, and careful analysis of results

  • Experience with PowerPoint, HTML, Marketing Automation Platforms, and video editing preferred
