Clubhouse Assistant Program Director

Horizon House is seeking an energetic, organized, self-motivated individual to join our Clubhouse community – a recovery and employment program for adults with mental illness.

Full time position for an individual comfortable serving in a supervisory position within a Clubhouse model program.

Responsible for day-to-day oversight of program activities and functions. Primary duty would be to manage the programmatic and administrative aspects of the Clubhouse in a manner consistent with program philosophy.

Duties would also include engaging members in unit work, conducting intakes and orientation for new clubhouse members, completing enrollment paperwork for new members, providing individual supervision to staff as delegated by Program Director, and being part of evening/weekend social program.

Required Skills

  • BA/BS and/or relevant experience preferred but not required

  • Must have strong computer skills

  • Clubhouse experience and supervisory/management experience preferred

  • Strong consideration will be given to an applicant with prior Clubhouse Model experience

  • Drivers' license required
