Guardian Life Group Benefits Distribution Regional Vice President - Northeast in United States
Guardian is seeking a senior Group Benefits Distribution leader who will be responsible for driving and executing a profitable growth strategy through ongoing sales and retention. You will lead, coach and develop teams responsible for groups of 2-2000 lives.
The role will collaborate with Group Benefits Senior leaders and internal partners to leverage data when delivering on Guardian’s promise to inspire well-being, managing top and bottom line growth strategies, and identifying opportunities to increase broker value.
Success of this role will be largely dependent on creating a high performing teams that are successful at building internal and external relationships and achievement of financial results within the assigned region.A few sentences about the position here…

You Will:
Develop a regional sales plan and represent Guardian in the marketplace to achieve corporate, financial and market goals to improve profitability, growth, retention and increased market share
Be responsible for and maintain diverse, impactful teams by creating a culture with a strong sense of accountability for results, team performance, and change resilience
Strive for continuous improvement by creating followership and collaborating with cross functional teams to set the standard on achieving corporate, financial, and regional objectives
Ensure market presence and cultivate strong external relationships with regionally aligned brokers and distribution partners. Be seen as the expert within the region by providing intelligence on local competitors, customer wants and needs and emerging trends with Group Benefits products
Identify, recommend and champion process improvement / new products and features to positively influence regional outcomes
Support the general wellbeing of the broker and client relationships for the development and growth of Guardian sales, consumer engagement, and client retention.
You Have:
A minimum of 10 years of group sales insurance leadership experience and a demonstrated ability to create and collaborate to develop long term strategic outcomes.
Familiarity and/or experience with Group Benefits products
Demonstrated business acumen with ability to analyze financial reports, accurately forecast sales results and control all local expenses.

Salary Range :
$180,000 +/-
The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate. In addition to salary, this role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.
