Philips Sales, Strategic Account Manager - Forcare (National) in United States of America - Home Based, Massachusetts


In this role, you have the opportunity to:

Be part of the North America Philips Forcare Sales Team that is on an ambitious growth path in the interoperability space.The Strategic Account Manager develops and manages relationships with Strategic HIE Accounts in North America and works strategically at the C-Level to win new business.

The ideal candidate would have an existing network of relationships and a clear vision of industry developments, specifically the HIE segment.

You are responsible for:

  • Achieve quota for order intake, revenue and profit margin at a specified selection of customers and accountable for managing the sales order.

  • Research the accounts and its affiliated operating model, business challenges, critical metrics, issues, goals and growth strategy to develop a Philips Forcare account strategy.

  • Utilize the Trusted Advisor Role by providing market insights on industry trends, competitive landscape information, healthcare legislation that assists the Account in reaching its goals.

  • Leverage the Business and Partnership relationship to retain and build toward a full Philips Forcare solution and product portfolio standardization. Identify and operationalize relevant eco-systems and partnerships.

  • Identify a strong funnel of growth potential by analyzing contract status, standardization plan, evaluating current contracts, products, needs, care gaps, and construction strategies to leverage into deal strategies.

  • Develop business proposals and concepts to cater to customers’ requirements.

  • Acts as a single point of contact for Strategic HIE Accounts and own Executive level relationships. Communicate, align and drive the team to execute on the Account strategy.

  • Negotiate and own development of contracts for compliance, terms and conditions, renewals and extensions.

  • Acting as an Opportunity Owner, coordinate internal and external resources to execute on the Account Strategy involving Marketing, Pre-sales and Technical support.

  • Demonstrate the highest level of Philips Leadership competencies and behaviors.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

  • 5+ years’ experience in sales in the Healthcare industry.

  • Experience in building long-term strategic account plans.

  • Experience with working on C-level with the customers.

  • Master’s degree in a technical, management or operations area; MBA preferred.

  • Well-established relationships among clinicians, IDNs, enterprise imaging vendors and HIEs

  • Proven ability to influence and deliver through others and in a complex, global, matrix organization.

  • C-level sales experience with focus on complex IT solutions in healthcare

  • Intrinsic motivation to build a company with entrepreneurial mind;

  • Excellent communication skills
