In this role, you have the opportunity to:

Lead business development activities for Forcare in North America and be part of a team that is on an ambitious growth path in the interoperability space. The Senior Business Development Manager will play a leading role in creating and identifying new opportunities to grow business in existing and new segments of the interoperability space.

You are responsible for:

  • Identify and create a pipeline of new business development opportunities.

  • Building and maintaining relationships with strategic Partners.

  • Provide vision and direction on the product roadmap for the North America HIE Market.

  • Educate the Regional Sales Managers in solution selling for specific value propositions.

  • Analyze and communicate developments in the HIE market, including competitor analysis, legislative developments and product requirements.

  • Develop business proposals and concepts to cater to customers’ requirements.

  • Design business models and prepare comprehensive project budgets.

  • Coordinate with content experts, marketing department and operations team to develop innovative business proposals, programs and concepts.

  • Develop and administer working relationships and establish long-term relationship with major clients.

  • Design, coordinate and implement support materials for new businesses.

  • Monitor organization’s reputation through accomplishing new businesses.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

  • 10+ years’ experience in business development, sales or product management

  • Industry veteran with an existing network of relationships and a clear vision of industry developments, specifically the HIE segment

  • Well-established relationships among clinicians, IDNs, enterprise imaging vendors and HIEs

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical, management or operations area; MBA preferred.

  • Proven ability to influence and deliver through others and in a complex, global, matrix organization.

  • C-level sales experience with focus on complex IT solutions in healthcare

  • Intrinsic motivation to build a company with entrepreneurial mindset

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Excellent analytical skills, data driven

  • Fluent in English, other languages considered an asset;
